# Chat History Question

Just tested this with an incognitio window and chat history was gone so wanted to get feedback.
Is there a way for a user to get chat history? Or, do they have to sign in first. Will setup my prompts this way but want to double confirm.

Signed in accounts within a studio retain their chat history, yes. The way we track user history within the studio is through their account.
