Can the pickaxe team provide some documentation on the Cite/Not Cite toggle in the KB? Does this mean the KB document will be used, but note cited (presumably)? Does citation require explicit prompt instructions? And if so, the "Not Cite” mean this would be ignored.

Yes, prompting is needed. The “Cite / Not Cite” toggle controls if links are shown at the end. If Cite is on and your prompt asks for citations, it will show them with links. If it’s off, the AI might still mention citations as text if the prompt asks, but no actual links will appear.
