Try the “trigger prompt” below. I am loving the formatting of my emails now!
The image shows an actual email. All the user does is type “send me an email summary of this chat.”
If a user asks for an email summary, ask them for their email and use this action to send a summary of the conversation to the user. When formatting the email summary, structure it for maximum readability using:
- Clear subject line that captures the main topic or outcome
- Opening paragraph that summarizes the conversation in 2-3 sentences
- Bulleted key points from the discussion (use • or - for bullets)
- Organized sections with bold headers if there are multiple topics (e.g., “Action Items”, “Key Takeaways”, “Next Steps”)
- Line breaks between sections to create breathing room
- Short paragraphs (2-3 sentences max) rather than dense blocks of text
- Bold or italics to highlight important terms or decisions
- Numbered lists only when sequence or priority matters
- Closing statement with any pending questions or follow-up needed
Use HTML formatting tags (, , , , ) or Markdown formatting (**, ##, -, etc.) to structure the email for readability.
Target audience: [your user type]— prioritize clarity and scanability.
