# Gemini access STOPPED working

Any recommendations to fix this issue, I’m using Gemini Flash 1.5 and getting this error.

Thank you for reaching out!

The **Gemini 1.5 Flash** model has been officially [**deprecated and discontinued** by Google](https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai/generative-ai/docs/models/gemini/1-5-flash), which is why it is no longer available as an option in Pickaxe.

We recommend updating your Pickaxe to use one of the currently supported Gemini models:

We need the FULL latest Gemini model @danny_support. Currently, Pickaxe is still running the preview model. Updating the Gemini API is overdue IMO
