# I keep getting an error that my usage is maxed out

This error started with the new version of Pickaxe. Not it wont let anyone use my pickaxes. I get an error message saying the usages is maxed out. I have a gold account with 1k credits so this is crazy. What should I do?

It looks like you’re using a custom API key. This error is coming directly from OpenAI, indicating that you have insufficient quota.

You can either fix your OpenAI account or use our default key by disabling your custom key in the following section:
