# Is Temperature Getting Deprecated?

I know that for most users, playing with temperature is a mistake. But… I have some pickaxes where toggling temperature up or down could improve performance. But I don’t want to build around a feature that is on its way out.

So is it safe to play with tempature?

Hi @thomasumstattd! We try never to roll back features that folks are actively using - so no need to worry about temperature going away any time soon. We encourage nearly all of our users to leave that setting alone, but it will remain visible within Advanced Settings!
