Newbie questions - recreating Claude-generated React artefacts experience in Pickaxe

Hi
I’m a tech dunce in the software/dev/coding space, albeit a former electronics engineer, so please do forgive anything here that might seem ‘obvious’ or basic.

I’m a business coach helping a broad spread of experts online to get more control over their business. To this end, I develop scorecards as lead magnets and various diagnostic tools to bring them into my world.

I’ve built 3 React artefacts in Claude Opus 4.6 that I’d like to recreate or port into Pickaxe/Studio, as it seems that the delivery environment here is far more straightforward.

The full user journey is:

  1. Launch & answer the free scorecard (lead magnet), receive a score and assessment on screen, get that also as a PDF (pref. via email)
  2. Purchase a low ticket diagnostic, go through more of what will feel like a coaching experience (I originally built a custom GPT for this), get a report (.md and PDF), download for potential next step.
  3. Discrete step - a user may not purchase this.
Purchase the next (and final) diagnostic, load the .md file from Step 2, go through another ‘coached’ experience, get a final report (screen and emailed PDF)

All built and tested, but in Claude (frameworks have been built that work across 4 LLMs we’ve tested).

Three things I’m trying to determine:

  1. Technicalities - I want the user to maintain the experience they have in Claude directly using this tool. I know I can hook the pickaxe into Claude 4.5/6, drop key data into the Knowledge Base and structure the prompt as per the Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini framework we developed.

Other than creating the right visual interface, is that largely enough to get the ‘engine’ of this working to deliver that experience… or is that a tall order/is there a different or better approach?

  2. Assuming it’s all doable, that begs the tier and cost mitigation/expectation question.
This will need to be scalable. Thousands of users over time, but no more than a few hundred per week. Is the Gold tier sufficient for this? What would I need to do to calculate cost exposure?

  3. If / when we get this working, I’m looking at modelling this for my clients, varying the framework to accommodate their questions, process and guardrails. We’d either train them on our model and send them to pickaxe, or move tiers and do this ourselves. Can we migrate to Pro if we go down this route?

Appreciate any feedback/thoughts.
Cheers.

Hi @pocketguy, welcome to Pickaxe

In theory, yes, this is absolutely possible in Pickaxe.

You’d recreate each stage of your journey as separate Pickaxes inside one Studio, use paywalls for the paid diagnostics, and connect PDF/email delivery through Actions. The AI “engine” side can run on Claude as you’re used to, with your framework structured in the prompt and supported by a Knowledge Base if needed. The main shift would be translating your current React experience into Pickaxe Forms or Chat flows, or embedding Pickaxe behind your existing UI if you want to preserve that layer.

That said, the right setup really depends on how tightly coupled your current React logic is and how you want Step 2 → Step 3 data handled.

I’d strongly recommend a quick call so we can fully understand your current build, desired UX, and scale expectations. It’ll save you time and help us suggest the cleanest architecture from the start.

Thanks abhi
Much appreciated.
