Photo Uploads Not Working

Hey Customer support,

I have a tool specifically designed to “read” actors’ headshots. They are prompted to upload 3-6 headshots and 3-6 selfies and then get a comprehensive analysis. The problem is, all of a sudden it’s not working. I have an actor who has attempted to upload her headshots at LEAST 7 times. At first, by consulting with Wingman, I thought the problem was her files were too big (though I’m using Claude with a token limit of 1 Million). I asked her to use web-safe photos or just take screenshots of her photos which she did and it’s STILL not working. The name of this tool is First Impressions and it lives in the portal Above the Line by Act Bold. Your help is appreciated. Anne

UPDATE: apparently you changed how you’re processing photos which is not only ineffective but EXTREMELY expensive. Not to mention, when users get “failed” output that leads to frustration and distrust. Why would you change something this big and not inform your clients?

Hi @actbold,

Thank you for reporting this! We’ve logged this as high-priority ticket PRD-1396, and our engineers are looking into it.

Your photos uploaded successfully, but an additional processing step caused the request to exceed the model’s context limit, resulting in the failed responses. Our investigation hasn’t identified a recent change to photo processing as the cause.

We noticed you switched to Gemini and your latest builder test completed successfully. While our engineers work on the issue, please continue using that working setup.

We’ll update you here as we have more information.

Hi @actbold,

Thank you for your patience! Our engineers have deployed a fix for PRD-1396. The issue was in how our system handled conversation history after the photos uploaded, which inflated the token count and caused requests to fail.

Please try your Agent again retry uploading headshots and selfies. The fix also addresses the saved history that could cause repeated attempts in the same conversation to fail.

Please let us know whether the analysis completes successfully.

This cost me a fortune in tokens and frustrated clients.
