# Slow Responses when compared to other services

When I compare an empty pickaxe with no customization vs. the same on something like TypingMind, both using the same API to OpenAI, the response time to a prompt on Pickaxe is VERY slow compared to the other. I was hoping to launch a Studio for $$ in a month, but this has me very concerned. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a fix for this?

Response times will speed up noticeably with our new redesign in 1-2 weeks!

We are currently rolling out the new redesign to a few customers on a limited basis. By the end of month, it will be rolled out to everyone!
