I’ve been multi prompting ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok Imagine for images and Grok just started winning last week. With the exact same prompt Grok Imagine was giving us better images than Nano Banana or GPT Image 1.5.
This is a big deal. Grok has never won before. In fact for a while I wasn’t event testing on grok because it was so far behind. But overnight Grok Imagine just got crazy good at images.
It is also comparable or even cheaper in cost. The base model is $0.02 per image, Pro version $0.07 for even sharper results. Speed is excellent and it supports aspect ratio (16x9 let’s goooooo!), resolution control, plus natural-language editing if you feed it an existing image.
