AI News! What do you think?

What do you guys think about Anthopic’s answer to openclaw?

Someone else built a secure lite version of OpenCLAW called Nanoclaw. Maybe that would be better for pickaxe?

Will we get Leanstral: Open-Source foundation for trustworthy vibe-coding | Mistral AI for clients that vibe code? Hopefully it doesn’t suffer amnesia (Qodo 2.1 solves your coding agents' 'amnesia' problem, giving them an 11% precision boost | VentureBeat)

I think all of the Big AI companies are adding Claw-like features, but then you are bound to using that particular LLM.
I’m not sure about nano-claw, but there are several clones popping up…. The thing is, they can all say there are “more secure,” but that is a setup issue and on Pickaxe we have the team setting it up properly and safely on THEIR servers. The security issue that is the same on ALL of them is the USER giving away too many permissions.
Since OpenClaw has more features, the most active opensource community and expandability, I like it best for Pickaxe, until the Pickaxe dev team decides on something better (if necessary)
IMHO

Thanks @dougfresh for the clarification.

I just wonder how useful it will be if the Big AI companies are blocking or banning the use of openclaw, because now we have something that we have…that we can’t use.

What should the openclaw be used for that the pickaxe doesn’t do?
