I’ve been testing Grok 4 today and so far I am really impressed. From a reasoning perspective, its the best LLM I’ve worked with yet. There are some strange bugs with the text output I hope they clear up soon.
Grok 4 is slow! Although that might be because everyone in AI world is hammering away at it today running tests.
The API cost is the same as Grok 3 on a per token basis, but Grok 4 generates more tokens during reasoning than Grok 3. So it is smarter by thinking longer about the question.
I can’t wait for Grok 4 to be part of Pickaxe! Have you tried Grok 4? What do you think?

I’m not sure yet. I want to start testing it against Gemini 2.5 Pro for some of my reasoning tools.
