If something feels off with a Pickaxe, the fastest way we can help is by looking at the exact conversation session where it happened. That’s where the Session ID comes in.
Think of the Session ID as a precise bookmark. It lets our support and engineering teams jump straight to the specific message, model run, and settings involved. No guesswork. No back and forth. Much faster fixes.
Where to find the Session ID
-
Go to your Studio
-
Click Users in the left sidebar
-
Open the Activity tab
-
Click into the conversation you want to report
-
Select the message
-
Click the small info / insights icon on that message
-
You’ll see Message Insights. The Session ID is shown at the top and can be copied with one click
That’s it. Takes about 10 seconds once you know where to look.
When should you share a Session ID?
Please include it when you notice things like:
-
Slow or stuck responses
-
Errors or incomplete outputs
-
Unexpected credit usage
-
Actions not triggering correctly
-
Model behavior that feels wrong
Why this helps so much
When you share a Session ID, we can:
-
Open the exact message you’re referring to
-
See the model, tokens, timing, and costs
-
Inspect Actions, knowledge pulls, and system behavior
-
Reproduce the issue instead of guessing
This saves a lot of time and helps us get you a real answer faster.
If you’re reaching out in the community forum or emailing support, dropping the Session ID in your message is one of the best things you can do for everyone involved. Our engineers will quietly thank you for it. ![]()
