Dear friends and Pickaxe legends,
The team at Pickaxe has gone above and beyond to remove the complexities of action code. Generating a basic PDF is now significantly easier and works with almost every LLM out there.
Here’s how simple it is now:
1) Navigate to your Pickaxe’s Actions tab and click on the PDF Generator action.
2) Add a Trigger Prompt to tell your Pickaxe when, how, and why this action should be triggered.
Start with: Trigger this action when... and then explain the specific conditions.
Example:
Trigger this action when the user requests a downloadable report or asks to generate a PDF summary of the analysis.
3) Click Connect and you’re done.
Important Notes:
- This generates basic PDFs (unbranded). You can add simple styling like color blocks, shading, and font changes, but it won’t support advanced features like letterheads or complex layouts.
- Works with almost all LLMs now - no need to stick to OpenAI models exclusively.
