Issue with Pickaxe Website Login Not Retaining Session

Hello

I’ve encountered an issue with the Pickaxe website where my login session is not being retained. Every time I try to log in; I’m successfully authenticated, but after a few minutes of inactivity or when I refresh the page, I’m logged out automatically and have to log in again. :upside_down_face:

This is happening across different browsers (Chrome and Firefox) & even after clearing my cache and cookies. I’ve tried the “Remember Me” option during login, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on session persistence. :innocent:

This issue is becoming quite disruptive, especially when I’m in the middle of a project or need to quickly access my account. I’ve checked my internet settings, including any ad blockers or security software that might be interfering; but the problem persists.

I also tried testing on a different network, and the issue remains the same, which makes me think it could be related to the website’s session handling or a server-side issue. :innocent:

Has anyone else faced similar issues with the Pickaxe website not retaining login sessions? :thinking: I have checked Bugs / Site Issues - Pickaxe Community Forum Splunk documentation guide.

Any advice or potential fixes would be greatly appreciated. If there are any known server-side issues or upcoming updates that could address this, I’d be interested to hear about them as well.

That is quite strange! We have not heard other reports of users being logged out in the middle of sessions. Can you share any other details about your browser of plugins? VPN?

I have this, too – not in the middle of a session, but pretty much every time I go to access my pickaxes in the dashboard, I’m asked to log in again (though clicking the ‘Login’ button takes me right through without having to enter any credentials).

I’m on a Windows machine, and this happens with Edge and Opera.
