We’ve made it easier than ever to upload and manage your files in the Knowledge Base!
Now you can simply click Connect Files and add PDFs, CSVs, websites, or YouTube links right from one clean and intuitive interface.

New Knowledge Base Interface

The Knowledge Base is where your Pickaxe stores and retrieves extra information to improve its answers. When a user asks a question, your Pickaxe automatically searches the most relevant chunks from your uploaded files and uses them to respond accurately and contextually.

The new layout helps you:

  • Choose and upload intuitively

  • See everything connected to your Pickaxe in one place

  • Manage knowledge sources more efficiently

Perfect for builders who rely on documents, transcripts, or large data files to power their AI tools.

Nice one team! Finally, we can create agents that learn from YouTube videos, RSS feeds, or even JSON files! The use cases are infinite :rocket: :clap:

Do I have to do anything to see this change? When I click connect files I just get a windows file uploading dialog screen? I’m on your annual Pro Plan

It is available for everyone. Have you migrated to the new platform? Please try logging in to the old version of the site, which can be found at https://beta.pickaxeproject.com/auth/login, and resetting your password there. Once that is done, you should be able to log in to the new version successfully and migrate. I hope this helps.
