Knowledgebase linked to cloud folders on Dropbox/OneDrive/GoogleDrive with appropriate permissions?

From a production perspective, I’m now using hundreds of documents in the knowledgebase and there are always a few more reference documents to add. IAt some point, it feels like a duplication where I do knowledge management for my company in one cloud drive, and then manually upload the (new) files to Pickaxe every 2 weeks or so.

I would like for a more seamless solution where if I make the approporate linkages, Pickaxes will automatically sync with a specific folder and use the documents in those folders as ingest for knowledgebase.

I like this idea. I have hundreds of files, and adding them one by one is tedious.

Hi @wzheng163, you can connect your Google or Notion to your Pickaxe. Here’s the announcement post for more info:

Ned, that sounds great. It would be far greater to have pickaxe connected to a folder on Google Drive rather than single files. Right now it does do that. It can only pull single files from Google Drive, rather than a whole drive.

Hi @wzheng163 ,

Here’s how you can upload multiple files into your Knowledge Base.

  1. Click “Connect files.”

  2. In the file picker window, you can either:

    • Select all files at once by clicking and dragging while holding the left mouse button, or

    • Select individual files by holding CTRL (Windows) or Command (Mac) while clicking each file.

  3. Once selected, click Open to upload them all at once.
