Losing Email Captures to Anonymous Flow & Need Help With Configuration

Hi Pickaxe Team,

I launched my portal about a week ago and I’ve been really happy with the experience so far, both for me and my users. That said, I’ve run into one configuration issue I’m hoping you can help with.

I want users to be required to create an account before using the tool and automatically assigned to the Free tier on sign-up. Right now that only works with an Anonymous access group enabled, which I’ve configured to provide one free credit. The problem is this is creating funnel leakage: users consume the free credit without ever providing an email. In the past 24 hours alone, roughly 10 users accessed the tool anonymously while only 5 created accounts.

Two possible fixes I’m wondering about:

Short term: is it possible to set the Anonymous access group usage limit to 0 so users are forced to sign up immediately? Right now the minimum appears to be 1.

Long term: ideally I’d remove the anonymous flow entirely and have users go straight into the Free tier on account creation, no anonymous credit step at all.

I’ve set your Anonymous access group limit to 0, so you should be good. Visitors are now prompted to create an account the moment they reach the portal.
