Mic function not working on chat

I’ve had several users write to tell me that the mic function doesn’t work which I explicitly ask them to use as it yields much better results than typing. Obviously, I tried this function several times when I was creating the app and it worked then but it doesn’t now. I’ve also tried using it in different browsers and that doesn’t help either.

The mic icon displays but nothing happens when it gets clicked.

Typing still works but I’d rather they be able to speak.
