Multiple Issues after migration to V2

I wrote a few emails but didn´t get any reply yet for a few days so I post it here again in order to get some help!

ISSUE 1:
Unfortunately, I encountered more massive problems since the upgrade or update to the new version of Pickaxe. My entire sign up process is completely broken. Completely screwed. Before, when somebody signed up, they were automatically assigned to the free plan that gives like 20 credits per month. Now they’re still stuck in the “everything blocked” after they sign up. They have to click again on pricing and then select the free plan. This is unacceptable.

How can I assign immediately the free plan for everybody who is logged in? This is the minimum plan that always has to be assigned if somebody is locked in. It doesn’t even assign the plan if I create a new user myself. I tested that and then go there, click on access denied, which was promoting to Signup/login before but now it says Access denied… not sure if it´s the missing German translation that changed that!?; But regardless, I clicked on it, then selected the free plan, then it prompted me to sign up. I confirmed the email, and I was back, but that plan was not assigned. I had to again go to pricing and then click again; then it was assigned, but it was not assigned automatically after the sign up process, in general, like it was before. It should be even if I click just on sign up in the upper menu in the header menu. It should automatically assign this free plan.

How can I achieve that, because this was the default in the old system? I’m trying today already the entire day. Everything is so counterintuitive, and utterly complicated that I can’t get the hang of that. How is this very simple thing possible? This is the most common, the easiest thing that should be super easy to achieve.

I watched Nathaniel’s videos about the access group in the portals. Unfortunately, no useful information in there that actually works. Not sure if it’s again my account that just got screwed up with everything, and that’s why it’s not working, but please have a look at this. And help me schieve this. Having them click again and again and again to just get some free uses causes 0% conversion. The free plan should be assigned automatically on sign up. At “KI Toolbox für Deutschlehrer”

ISSUE 2:

Translations! My portal is set to German, but almost everything is in English. There is barely any translation working; most of the translations are broken, almost everywhere. Luckily, most of my clients speak some English, but it looks ultra unprofessional. In case this is some auto settings, I have my VPN set to Germany and my browser settings are German, so it still shows everything in English. Regardless of browser or IP, it should show everything in German and nothing else regardless of the settings in the Browser or the IP. In the screenshot here, just one example where literally everything is just in English. In the header menu, everything, if I hover over it, is in English as well, not in German. But it´s pretty much 90-95% of all translations not working.

ISSUE 3:

The additional users should be hidden if it’s zero. It provides zero extra information and just takes space away for the upgrade options that users might not see. If it’s zero, it should be hidden completely.

ISSUE 4:
Everything became a complete mess for me. Can somebody please walk me through how I can clean up the portals and access group so that I pretty much have the same overview like before? I have the free access, a monthly plan, and a yearly plan. And then obviously have the old plans with one-time uses that are not for sale anymore, but this became like forty-something portals and forty-something access groups. Can somebody please explain to me how I can clean up this mess, because at the moment for me it’s not really clear who has access to what and if it’s really the same as before? As there were so many issues with my account, I kind of doubt that users see what it’s intended to be seen and what they have access to…

I am having the same confusions and issues.

We used to have simple products mapped to stripe. Since the upgrade the access groups and portals are confusing me so much.

I edit one access group thinking it will work and when I open the browser it says access denied or worse the product isn’t available.

Definitely a very confusing update - we need more guidelines and clearer support on this new migration. I am usually pretty good with adapting to new platform updates but this one has been definitely a hard one to navigate.

Hello Pickaxe Team,

We were on a call right after the migration when everything got fucked. After a firm investigation, I found that literally every single piece is fucked.
Already reported broken parts with no solution for more than 10 days now:

  • Free plan is not assigned on sign up

  • Translations not applied

  • It´s impossible to know who has access to what as it´s by Portal but I don´t know which user is assigned to which portal…

Now, for almost two weeks, I’m trying to get this resolved. I got one email back in two weeks that didn’t resolve anything and offered me a call. I gave the times for the next 48 hours when I’m available and did not get a response.

NEW MAJOR ISSUE I FOUND OUT ABOUT DUE TO CUSTOMER REPORTS:

I found out now, on top of all the other stuff that is still not working that people on older plans do not have access anymore – I can not properly check as it´s impossible for me to see who is assigned to which portal… but I got 3 Reports from people on plans that are more or less a year old and weren´t actively sold anymore in the last months that they lost access.

Because absolutely every single piece of the system got completely and entirely fucked during migration, I request that you please get whoever on a call with me on Monday, 23rd of March, 2026 Vietnamese time, to explain to me how I can finally migrate everything MANUALLY because your automatic transition left absolutely every single part of the old system in bits and pieces. You left me with this utter, unprofessional chaos and nobody responding to my inquiries anymore ever since migration day. I got 1 email back in 10 days which literally just said yeah we will look into it.

  • My sign ups to free plan are 80% down since migration

  • My sign ups for Free trials are 0 since migration

  • My sign ups to paid plans is 0 since migration

So please get me someone on the call – I am available 9am – 7pm Vietnamese time (GMT + 7) – Any time!

Yes got resolved - Was on a call with them and they aexplained howthe system works and I fixed/migrated manually
