Try Now Button doesn’t work on Studio homepage

Hi @rainmaker ,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please clarify which specific “Try Now” button you are referring to? If you mean the button in the Hero section, we tested that behavior on our side and it appears to be functioning correctly, including redirecting to the destination specified in the Button Destination setting.

Please send us a link to your Studio along with any additional details about what you are experiencing. Once we have that information, we will review it more closely and investigate further.

Hi Danny, I just sent a video showing the Try now button doesn’t work with the studio in question. Also I believe all. my studios have the same issue FYI.

This is critical since users don’t convert because of lack of trust. If the try now button doesn’t work which it doesn’t in all my studios they bounce. Please fix this ASAP.

Hi @rainmaker ,

After investigating, we found that the button destination for the Hero section in your Studio is currently set to Auto. At the moment, there are no other Content Pages or unlocked Pickaxes in your Portal for that button to redirect to, so it does not have a destination available.

If your goal is for the button to redirect visitors to the Pricing Page or Account Page, you can set that directly in the Hero section settings using the Button destination dropdown.

If your goal is for the button to redirect to a Pickaxe, I have raised this internally, and the team is reviewing the best way to support that behavior. In the meantime, the current workaround is to leave the Button destination set to Auto and configure the Pickaxe to allow 1 free guest use.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue refining and improving the platform.

Thanks Danny! Yes I tested and have it going to the pricing page so it opens up a new window for the different plans which will help conversions and not look broken like before.

Hi @rainmaker ,

I wanted to share an update here. Our engineers have now added the ability to point Hero section buttons to a custom link, which gives you much more flexibility in how that button behaves.

This means you can now direct the Hero button to any custom destination you choose, including a specific Pickaxe if that fits your flow better.

Thank you again for flagging this and for your patience while the team worked through it.
