I want my text on my Home (hero) page to be white against a background photo. I can edit the page and set the “Text color” to “White”, but it reverts to black unless I change the “Overlay opacity” to 36% or greater.
It appears that Pickaxe overrides that text color depending on the opacity setting. It seems that decision should remain in the hands of the user. Please consider removing the override, or is there a workaround?
@Gene yes, the color system in the Pickaxe studio editor works in contrast. If the BG (or overlay) color is dark, the text reverts to white, and vice versa. It’s not a bug per se, but I agree with you that it would be nice to have more control over the colors.
@Gene thanks for asking! Ned is correct - our current setup does not allow users to select text colors. If you’re interested in making that happen, feel free to put this in feature requests!
