Claude Fable 5 is Anthropic’s newest Mythos model with many powerful capabilities. When using Claude Fable 5, you will be able to notice:

A couple of things to consider 
Since Claude Fable 5 is so powerful, it requires certain guardrails so that it doesn’t cause more issues than it solves. When asked about topics related to certain fields (cybersecurity, biology, chemistry) the model will revert back to Claude Opus 4.8. Another thing to consider is the price. Claude Fable 5 is currently being priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens which is about double the price to run Claude Opus 4.8. Just make sure you aren’t running these models for simple tasks!
How to maximize this tool 
Claude Fable 5 is at its best when it is applied to long tasks that require a large context window, advanced coding/agentic software engineering, and complex reasoning. It is exceptional at visual understanding with the capability of extracting specific details from graphs or infer UI structure or recreate code just from a singular screenshot!
