Heads up, the cost for Gemini 3 is higher than Gemini 2.5.

With great AI models comes a great bill… Gemini 3 didn’t miss the memo.

Quick calculations:

Output 3000 tokens (this is a lot)
Input 400 tokens
500 messages

The cost is around ~18 $, IF every message reaches the maximum input and output token amount.

After testing the model it works really well and seemed to be quite cost effective. Didn’t get many messages (input + ouput combined ) to reach even 0.01 $, even with those limits set up. I see great future for Gemini 3 Pro.

As the big AI companies start moving toward profitability, I expect more of the new models to come with new higher prices.

Yeah, I also did a text if I’d replace my sonnet 4.5 with gemini 3 pro would the cost go down and quality stay the same. seems yes! I was very happy with the output quality and cost saving was very good. :+1:
