How to prevent multiple device logins for the same user in Pickaxe?

Hi Pickaxe team & community,

I’m building a commercial chatbot with Pickaxe and face a key issue:
Users are logging in with the same account on multiple devices/browsers, which bypasses my pricing model (1 license = 1 user).

I’d love a native solution or best practice for:

  • Allowing only 1 active session/device per user
  • Blocking a second login or forcing the first to log out
  • Doing this without building external infrastructure

Is anyone solving this already?

Hi,

We’d like to solve this problem for you! Authentication and managing log-ins is core to what we’re trying to help folks with here at Pickaxe.

We can make it so it logs them out on the other browser… but they would just be able to log in again. Can you be a bit more clear on the exact case you’re trying to prevent? Is it when, say, 2 people log in with the same account and use the studio at the same time?

If you can give a few clear descriptions of the situations you’re hoping to prevent, we can add a fix to this into an upcoming patch.
