Hi All.
I had a .txt text file I had uploaded. It had links in there which are still coming out which breaks things. I need the updated file to be used instead. I have not seen any settings to address this. TY.
Hi @landed! To clarify, you’re saying that the old .txt file is still being referenced, even after being deleted?
Yes that’s what I am seeing, so it’s a caching issue.
Hi @landed ,
To help us investigate this properly, would you be comfortable sharing a link to the Studio where this is occurring? You’re also welcome to email it directly to our support inbox at info@pickaxe.co if that’s easier.
In the meantime, could you please double-check whether the file is still present under your account’s uploaded files? You can do this by going to your Studio dashboard, navigating to the Users tab, opening the Manage Users section, and clicking on your own account.
In the sidebar that opens, check the Uploaded Files section to see if the file is still listed there. Additionally, please visit the Knowledge Base tab of your Studio dashboard and confirm whether the document is still present there.
If the file has been fully removed but the model is still referencing it, this may be related to conversation memory. To rule this out, you can temporarily set the Memory Buffer to 0 in the Configure tab of your Pickaxe under Token Length.
This setting controls how much prior conversation context the chatbot retains and can help prevent references to previously uploaded documents.
