Markdown is the ideal format for knowledge management and RAG systems due to its clean structure and semantic clarity that LLMs can easily parse and understand. While Pickaxe currently supports various file formats including PDFs and text files, adding native markdown support would significantly improve content organization and retrieval accuracy, and is a must, as many users maintain their documentation in this widely-adopted standard format.
Hi @marek, I have asked our engineers to allow the KB to receive .md files, so that change should be available in the near future!
