I know how to include ad tracking for product sales in the confirmation header, but how do we track multiple products at different price points? I don’t think the system can differentiate between all the products and their values. For example, in our tracking solution, we manually have to assign one price point to each product. The only solution I can think of is to fully integrate with a click-tracking software or the ad platforms themselves.
what’s up rainmaker! that’s one of my business names too, love it ![]()
I’d use an external funnel of some sort for more dialed tracking, that’s what we’re doing.
That way you can set up all the conversion events you need for Google/Meta to really scale.
Once they buy on your funnel, send them to Pickaxe for fulfillment of the product
Eventually a possible feature request you could submit is for Pickaxe to have custom thank you pages for each product. This would allow advertisers to fire a pixel event when a user lands on that custom thank you page.
But if you want to really be a rainmaker, for now I’d do a funnel as you have more control over order bumps, upsells, downsells etc.
@stephenbdiaz great minds think alike
I am talking within a Pickaxe studio. I take it you are embedding your Pickaxes within your funnel to have more control of a free trial sign-up, which would be an action conversion (A Pixel), then a checkout page in your funnel, which would be an engagement conversion (E Pixel), and finally a confirmation page, which would be a sale conversion (S Pixel)? I don’t do any embedding and would like to do this somehow within my Pickaxe studio instead. I don’t see a way to do it, so I think you are correct. I will have to do a feature request for this. My tracking solution integrates directly with Google/Meta, so I don’t have to have multiple pixels. @danny_support do you have this ability today or should I put in a feature request?
I don’t do any embeds yet, we just run ads to a landing page (here’s ours: http://aiforcompanies.com/) and when they buy we use Pickaxe api to create a user in Pickaxe.
Then we have our email autoresponder send users the log in details and they only really get onto Pickaxe after they’ve bought.
If you want to do a free trial you could do something similar but after they opt in, do all the user creation stuff and then send them to Pickaxe on the thank you page after opt in ![]()
@stephenbdiaz I submitted the feature request here - Track Sales of multiple products at different price points to allow for more Comprehensive Ad Tracking if I missed anything you can comment there to add to the thread.
