We just rolled out a much-needed upgrade to how monetization works in Pickaxe (and it’s a big one).
You can now lock individual tools and entire folders directly inside your portal. This gives you way more control over what users can access and what they need to unlock
What’s new (and why it matters)

You can lock a single tool and sell access to just that

You can lock a full folder, so users pay to unlock a bundle

You can now attach offers directly through your portal

Users can preview content and upgrade, or instantly unlock via offers
This might sound simple, but it removes a lot of friction. Earlier, selling even one tool felt clunky. Now it’s finally straightforward.
How to set it up

Go to Edit Portal

Click on the Lock tab (as shown above)

Select the tool or folder you want to lock

Choose:

Upgrade preview (users see it, upgrade to unlock)

Offer (pay to unlock instantly)

That’s it. No complicated workarounds anymore.
Why builders will like this
If you’ve ever tried selling just one tool, you probably know how limiting the old setup felt. This fixes that.
