Ever had a user report an error and thought
âI canât reproduce this on my sideâ?
Until now, fixing those issues often meant back-and-forth messages, screen shares, or jumping on a call just to see what the user is seeing.
That just got easier.
Whatâs new
Inside the Builder preview, youâll now see a Select Sender option.
This lets you switch who youâre testing as:
-
AI Builder (you, as the builder)
-
A specific end user
Once you switch the sender, you can use the Pickaxe exactly as that user would.

Why this matters
When users report issues, the problem is often tied to:
-
Their credits or limits
-
Their login state
-
Their past conversation or memory
-
Their specific permissions
As a builder, you usually donât experience those conditions.
Now you can.
By testing as the user:
-
You see the same errors they see
-
You can reproduce issues in seconds
-
You donât need a call or screen share
-
Troubleshooting becomes much faster and clearer
When to use it
This is especially helpful when:
-
A user says âitâs not working for meâ
-
Something works for you but not for them
-
You want to verify limits, paywalls, or access rules
-
Youâre preparing a clean repro before reaching out to support
Small feature. Big time saver.
