Hi @latransformateca, thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Pickaxe is not down and was not down. You can always track platform status here: https://status.pickaxe.co/
This looks like a provider-side error, not a Pickaxe outage. Even if it worked yesterday, providers sometimes tighten validation without notice, which can cause things to break suddenly. Switching models won’t affect this.
To help us look into it, please share:
A screenshot of the full error
Any recent changes you made before this started
If possible, the Pickaxe or Action involved
We’ll take a look and help you get unstuck quickly.
This isn’t about fault-finding or a blame mission at all. We’re on the same team and genuinely want to help you get this working.
When a post says “Pickaxe is down,” our first step is to verify platform status. We did that, and Pickaxe itself was up and running. That’s why we shared the status page. It helps separate a platform outage from a configuration or provider issue.
At that point, we didn’t yet have visibility into Actions, Zapier, or where exactly the error was coming from. Once you mentioned the Zapier MCP Action, things became much clearer. That context matters a lot.
To move this forward and resolve it properly, we still need a bit more clarity:
A full screenshot of the error
Where exactly it’s happening (Builder, test panel, live tool, embed)
Which Action is connected
The account or Studio where this is occurring
Also, just a small terminology note: saying “Pickaxe is down” usually means a platform-wide outage. In this case, it sounds like “Pickaxe is not working as expected in my setup,” which is very different and much easier for us to help with once we have details.
Thanks again for sticking with the thread. Share the info above and we’ll take it from there together.
