Uploaded files used when they shouldn't be

Hi,

When users upload files, pickaxes use them even when they shouldn’t. Example:

  1. User uploaded file to Pickaxe 1, the setting is that the uploads are available to all pickaxes
  2. User now uses Pickaxe 2, which uses content from that file as assumptions, even though it is irrelevant here.

There isn’t a way to indicate whether the uploaded files are relevant or not for a specific run. The only way out I could see is to delete the files.

@ravit thanks for reaching out! There are a couple of ways to improve on this, depending on your needs:

  1. Change file upload settings to “this thread only”
  2. Lower the token allocations for uploaded documents in the Configure tab of the Pickaxe Builder on Pickaxes where you don’t want these documents referenced
