URGENT: Provider Error 1: Your credit balance is too low to access the Anthropic API. Please go to Plans & Billing to upgrade or purchase credits

My clients are getting this error and so am I but I have plenty of Pickaxe credits. When I use my own API it works fine but I paid for these credits so I shouldn’t have to pay additionally. Can someone tell me why? It’s not happening on all the tools I have, just some but it’s seriously disrupting my service I provide.

This is happening for me too. I’ve checked my own plan again and again but there doesn’t seem to be an issue with the billing.

I’m guessing it’s a Pickaxe credit issue because when I turn my API on (which I am paying for on top of my Pickaxe credits) it works.

Could you please send a quick email to info@pickaxe.co with:

  • Your Pickaxe account email

  • Links to the affected tools

  • A full page screenshot of the error

That will help us quickly see why those tools are throwing the Anthropic credit error.

Yes I can thank you. I will say I have tried all my tools and it changes every time. Some work sometimes and then they don’t. So I would say it’s all my tools. But I will send an email. I can jump on a call too if you want. I didn’t mention it in the email as I am just running out but need this sorted fast.

Quick update: this issue now appears to be resolved.

If you were seeing the Anthropic credit error earlier, please refresh and test your tools again. Everything on our end is looking stable now.
