We’re currently facing a critical issue with our bot service that’s affecting our users. When attempting to send messages, users are encountering the following error:
“Your credit balance is too low to access the Anthropic API. Please go to Plans & Billing to upgrade or purchase credits.”
This error is significantly disrupting our service and requires immediate attention, as it’s impacting a large portion of our active user base.
To be clear, this issue is not related to our credit balance. We have over 1,400 credits available, purchased via Pickaxe, so there is no reason this message should be triggered.
Please investigate this as a top priority and let us know. Thank you!
Anthropic API is associated with your Pickaxe account. Please go to Studio, then click on “Settings.” After scrolling down, you will see the enabled external API key. When you use your own key, Pickaxe credits are not used. I am sharing a screenshot to show you where you can disable it to use Pickaxe credits.
