Usage limit not enforcing on Form — user can submit multiple times after purchasing single use plan

Hi Pickaxe Community,

I’m hoping someone can help me resolve a usage limit issue I’m experiencing with my Form-based Pickaxe.

My setup:

  • I have a Form (not a Chat) called Your Strategic Growth Partner
  • It is deployed via a direct link to the Member Portal
  • I have three Member Access Groups: Starter Plan (1 use), Growth Plan (3 uses), and Agency Plan (10 uses)
  • All plans are set to one-time purchase via Stripe
  • Guest access is set to 0 uses

The problem:
After purchasing the Starter Plan (1 use), the form can still be submitted and used multiple times. The usage limit does not appear to be enforcing correctly — the user is not being blocked or prompted to upgrade after their single use is consumed.

What I have already checked:

  • Wallet is set to One-time uses with Amount set to 1 in the Starter Plan Access Group
  • The Direct Link portal deployment is connected to all three Member Access Groups
  • Guest access group is set to 0 uses per day
  • I am testing in an incognito window with a separate account (not as the Studio owner)

My questions:

  1. Does the use limit work differently for Forms vs Chats?
  2. Is there a known issue with usage limits not enforcing on Form submissions?
  3. Is there anything specific I need to configure to ensure the form can only be submitted once per purchased plan?

Any help would be greatly appreciated — I am very close to launching and this is the final piece I need to resolve!

Thank you,
Trish

Hi Trish, thanks for reaching out! This is not a Forms vs. Chats issue - there seems to be an issue with one-time uses in member access groups, and I have created ticket PRD-810 and assigned to one of our engineers. I should have a fix for you by tomorrow - I appreciate your patience, and thank you for posting here to help us log the isuse!

Thank you Lindsay. Will look forward to resolving.
