I have two actions connected to my Pickaxe. One to ‘Send Summary Details to Owner’ and the other a ‘Pabbly webhook’. I added the pabbly webhook as the ‘Send Summary Details to owner’ is not reliable enough (works sometime but other times it doesn’t). Now both don’t get triggered even when the AI clearly has the users contact details. What are you supposed to do to get this working?
This is my ‘Send Summary details to owner’ prompt:
”When a user has given their email address (for any reason and at any time), use this action to send a summary Email to Owner. When sending the summary, say in the chat ‘Sending a summary of the conversation to the team at XXXXXX’.
This is my Pabbly Webhook prompt:
’When the user gives their name and email address and/or phone number, for any reason, then send the summary of the conversation AND their name AND their email address AND phone number if available. Send in the format of Name: name, Email: email, Phone: phone, Summary: summary of the conversation. When sending the data, say in the chat ‘Sending user details to the Team at XXXX’.
I have had both of these working a couple of weeks ago but now they don’t work at all. I also had all my knowledgebase documents disconnected randomly from this same Pickaxe, and I had to go through and reconnect them all. Very frustrating when these random things happen without any changes done from my side.
It might be coming from the prompt or from something else in the setup, so it’s hard to say without looking directly at the Pickaxe. Sometimes a small change in wording or logic can stop an Action from triggering.
If you can, please reach out to info@pickaxeproject.com from your registered email and include the direct link to the Pickaxe that’s having issues. I’ll check the setup on our side and can give you a clear answer once I see it.
Thanks Abhi - the issue is definitely coming from Pickaxe. The prompts in 2 actions didn’t change but just stopped working. Now I am receiving the Pabbly notifications but what is being sent to Pabbly is not correct. You can see the prompts above. I’ll send a request through by email.
@abhi I was thinking about this and on reviewing the data that was sent to the webhook on your test today, can I ask, has the AI model for the actions changed recently? Could this be the cause of the actions not working i.e. Pickaxe is now using an AI model with less reasoning so it is not picking up that it needs to do an action (in this case, send name and email details when they are given in the chat)? The actual info being sent to the webhook (in your test) is so random that something has changed Pickaxe side and there is a clear misunderstanding of the prompt by the AI model.
