Bulk Add PIckaxe Tool to Group Access

Feature Request: Bulk Edit Deployments for Group Access

Summary

Please add a bulk edit action in the Agents view that allows us to select multiple agents (or “Select All”) and update their deployment group access in one step, similar to how we can bulk update the model for selected agents.

Problem

Right now, if I want to grant a new Group Access deployment to all of my tools in a studio, I have to:

  • Open each agent individually
  • Edit its deployments
  • Add or change the Group Access settings
  • Save and repeat for every single tool

When you have 50–60+ agents, this becomes extremely time‑consuming and error‑prone. It also discourages experimenting with new deployment setups or restructuring studios, because the cost of updating everything manually is so high.

Proposed Solution

In the Agents list:

  • Allow us to select multiple agents (including “Select All”)
  • Provide a “Bulk Edit Deployments” action (like the current “Update Model of X Selected”)
  • In the bulk dialog, let us:
    • Add one or more Group Access deployments to all selected agents
    • Remove one or more Group Access deployments from all selected agents
    • Optionally set defaults (e.g., primary deployment) across the selected agents

This could mirror the UX and safeguards you already use for bulk model updates (confirmation dialog, summary of changes, etc.).

Why This Matters

  • Saves a huge amount of time for studios managing dozens of agents.
  • Reduces configuration mistakes when rolling out a new group or deployment strategy.
  • Encourages more sophisticated usage of Groups and Deployments because it removes the maintenance burden.
  • Aligns with existing bulk actions (like bulk model update), creating a consistent admin experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Ability to filter agents first (by studio, tag, group access, etc.) and then apply the bulk deployment update only to the filtered set.

Thank you for considering this — bulk deployment editing would make managing larger studios dramatically easier.
