Hey Pickaxe! Love the product and I’m loving the improvements. This is Jay from BBG (pretty much treat BBG as Jay.)
Outside of user logins our bots also connect to outside databases to store additional info (yes, we’re looking at your new memory features.)
This particular bug is that in the Circle embedding, users are able to bypass login. The chat history looks like:
The user will typically lose their chat history and their progress won’t be saved
Are there other repro steps or details I can provide for you?

We are using inline flex as the embed style. Multiple users are reporting an issue with this particular bot:
Hi Jay,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I was able to reproduce the issue on our side, and I have reported it to our engineering team for investigation.
I will follow up as soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, please try turning the feature off and back on to see whether that changes the behavior at all.
Do you mean delete and recreate? There’s no toggle for embedding a deployment.
.
Hi @brandbuildersgroup ,
Thank you for the follow-up. I meant turning the email login feature off and then back on again to see whether that changes the behavior.
That said, please rest assured that your report has already been escalated to our engineering team, and they are actively investigating the issue.
In the deployment of the pickaxe (checked portals, pages, member access groups, and pickaxe menues), I don’t see an email toggle.
Hi @brandbuildersgroup ,
Apologies for the confusion.
The email login toggle has been removed in the new platform. At this point, if the embed is placed under a Member Access Group, email login should be applied by default.
Our engineers have also pushed updates intended to improve email login behavior for embeds. At the moment, there are still issues specifically affecting Circle embeds not rendering properly, and that is something the engineering team is actively investigating.
Once I have a further update to share, I will follow up with you. Thank you for your patience.
Hi @brandbuildersgroup ,
Thank you for your patience.
Embeds should now work properly with Circle. The underlying issues were fixed, and I tested this using your specific embed in my own Circle account. It is now rendering correctly, and the email login functionality is working as expected.
One important note: if it still does not embed on your side, that likely means Circle cached the embed as unsupported from the earlier failed attempts. In that case, please add
&a= to the end of the embed URL and try again. That should force Circle to treat it as a fresh URL and allow it to load properly.

Love this @danny_support ! Thank you. The embed is displaying in Circle.
The next issue is the magic link. Here’s what we’re seeing in our testing:
- We log in with an email address.
- We receive the email (with the click here link and the full ugly link.)
- We then see this page after clicking on the link.
Hi @brandbuildersgroup ,
Thank you for the update. I am glad to hear the embed is now displaying properly in Circle.
The message you are seeing after clicking the magic link usually appears when the link has already been used or has expired. I tested the email login functionality on your embed, and it worked properly on my side.
Could you please try the following on your end:
- Make sure you and your end users are clicking the newest magic link from the most recent email, not an older one.
- Add
&a= to the end of the embed URL so Circle treats it as a fresh embed.
- Ask affected end users to clear their browser cookies and cache in case stored session data is interfering with the login flow.
If the issue continues after trying those steps, please let me know, and we can investigate further. If you are able to share a video showing the exact reproduction steps for this issue, that would be especially helpful.
