Rather scary bug - when you’re building a pickaxe and try to publish it before you create/upload a profile image (a very minor step which should have a default option), the builder stops you and gives an error. BUT at the very same time it deletes ALL the pickaxe content! Name and instructions. Thankfully undo brought it back, even though I then had to generate another profile image. Very poor process, something this minor should not prevent a pickaxe from being published, let alone have the consequence of erasing all the hard work put into the pickaxe!
Hi @createwherever, thanks for flagging this. That does sound frustrating, and I’m really glad undo brought your work back.
I tried to replicate this on my end by creating two separate pickaxes and publishing them without adding a profile image, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue or see any content being wiped.
Is this still happening for you now? If yes, could you please share a short screen recording of the exact steps? That would really help us visualize what’s going on and get this in front of the engineers quickly so we can resolve it as fast as possible.
Appreciate you taking the time to report this. We definitely want to make sure builder actions like this feel safe and predictable.
Thanks, Abhi. I tried again with a screen recording, but things did not disappear this time. Here’s the link however in case it helps: Test for Pickaxe Using the latest version of Chrome on a Windows 11 PC.
