Upgrade button in Chat + Upgrade visability

  1. The upgrade button in chat that appears when you are low on credits does not open the pricing or upgrade page but the home page.
  2. If I click on the pricing manually it doesn´t show me any upgrade options unless I click on monthly… that is all less than ideal…
My free plan is even a monthly one so it should never show just the free plan it should always show at least one if not all upgrade options…
  3. Translations for that intital Upgrade button not working

Thanks for the Loom and the detailed write-up! I can reproduce all three issues you highlighted: the low-credits chat upgrade button is routing back to the home page, the pricing page hides every paid plan unless you toggle to monthly, and the translation strings for that CTA aren’t loading. I’ve flagged this with our product team so we can fix the redirect, show all available plans by default, and patch the translation. In the meantime you can reach the correct upgrade flow via Pricing or the Upgrade button in the top nav. I’ll follow up in this thread as soon as the fix goes live.

I found out why the upgrade button is sending me to the home page instead of the pricing page

The link Pricing? or my website +/pricing/ does that as well… so I guess whats really broken is the general pricing link and not the button.

Hi @easydeutsch, I’ve logged these issues under PRD-746 and PRD-749. I’ll keep you posted as soon as I hear back from the team.

Hi @easydeutsch
The engineering team just informed me that the issues are fixed.

Could you please check your setup once now? Everything has been aligned on our end, so once it’s working for you, it should continue to stay consistent going forward.

Yes works now but translations are really bad.

Don´t translate “tool” in German - the translation referes exlusivly to the physical tool! The software tool stays “tool” in German

Usre experience and conversion focus is also really horrible… the user clicks on Upgrade (knowing how many credits he has left!) but he has to click again to see an upgrade option! And not just taht he has to click on that tiny word “monthly” to see that option… I am sorry but this beyond horrible UX … can you please hire somebody who points this stuff out to you guys…? I wouldn´t be surprised if this is killing the conversion by near 100% and therefor rendering teh entir upgrade process useless…

All upgrade processes are really conter intutive and really really bad from a UX perspective… this one here and even more the Access denied page that is still not fixed for logged out users!

Since the V2 my on page conversions that do not come from my E-Mail-Marketing are 0 - for paid customers because you literally make it impossible for users to sign up without going through endless pointless clicks that just make no sense! SIgn ups to the free plan are now also pretty much down to 0 as well because of the issue with the logged out user sees access denied instead of sign up/login - so so far the new system was a massive step back not forward until this is solved and I am considering moving away because it absoluty crashes and tanks all conversions!

I’ve reopened the translation issue ticket PRD-749. Thanks for flagging this.
