In-chat upgrade system doesn't work

There’s a really cool feature where your upgrade cards appear inside the chat when the user runs out of uses.

However, I tested it and it doesn’t take you to the checkout, it just takes you back to the homepage.

That’s definitely not expected behavior, thanks for flagging it.

One possibility could be that the user is already subscribed, so instead of showing checkout again, it redirects them to the homepage. That said, I don’t want to assume anything without checking properly.

It’s app.myhumanizer.com and it’s the Free portal.

Free users cannot upgrade to a paid subscription from inside the pickaxe tool - it takes them nowhere.

This is the user journey (see screenshots):

  1. User runs out of uses and sees the upgrade card and clicks on ‘Get’.
  2. User sees the upgrade card again and clicks ‘Get’ again.
  3. User taken back to pickaxe tool.

There’s also a black ‘upgrade’ button in the corner of the text input box - it just takes you to the homepage.

Thanks for sharing the details, that really helps.

I just tested the same flow on my end, and in my case it redirects to the paid subscription page. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

Would it be possible for you to share a quick screen recording of your exact steps? I want to make sure I’m following the same path as your users and not missing anything.

Once I can see the exact flow, I’ll be able to dig into this more precisely and help you resolve it faster.
