User in Member Access Group Still has Access Denied

Hi, I’m trying out the new credit system and portals as if I were a user of my pickaxes and I am stumped.

First, the guest portal did not show and jumped to a screen only showing the upgrade Member Access Group card, which was supposed to trigger after the user interacts with the pickaxe with a few complementary credits.

So, I created a direct link and it worked up until the user signed up to the upgrade. Then, it still denied access to the pickaxes, even though it showed the user’s correct member access group and number of credits remaining. It also showed a dollar amount for credits that was not part of the formula I had inputted in the monetization options.

Also, I have no idea what one typical user session could cost the user in terms of credits. All the old uses put together cost less than $1 but now it was asking the user for a substantially higher amount.

Bottom line: I am confused. Should I axe all the old pages, website, portals and try to start from scratch?

From what you’ve described, this looks like an access group and portal path configuration issue rather than something fundamentally broken. These setups can get tricky, and even a small mismatch can lead to exactly this kind of behavior. The good part is you don’t need to rebuild everything from scratch.
