Build trust by saving prompt on reaching limit

A user invested in formulating a prompt but then he got the “you’ve reached the limit” and lost his prompt - a very simple way to lose trust with all the noise out there. and a simple fix.

Also, how can I adjust the users’ limit reached? it looks like its 0 by default…

Hi @omer, Good news first. This is avoidable with the right settings.

Quick check so I don’t mislead you:
• Was the user a guest or logged in?
• Was this on a Studio page or an embed?

By default, guests can have 0 credits if Guest Settings are set that way.

You can change this here:
Studio → Access → Guest Settings
Set guest credits to at least 5 to avoid this.

If you share how the user accessed it, I can be more specific.

it was a logged in user and on the studio page.

would be nice to save their prompts even if the credits ended.

and thanks for the reply!

I might be missing something here, because I’m a bit confused by what “prompt is not saved” means.

In the screenshot I’m attaching, you can clearly see the prompt is still there even after the user hits the usage limit. The only thing that doesn’t happen is the output.

This is the same behavior you’ll see in ChatGPT or most other AI tools. When credits run out, the prompt isn’t lost. It stays visible, but the response won’t generate until credits are available again.
