One time guest credits not being activated

Hi all,

Is anyone having issues with guest access one-time credits just not expiring? I have set up direct link deployments with 150 one-timecredits. I have tried to trip the message to sign in by interacting with the agent and have gone well over 300 words, but the you’ve reached your limit message just never appears. Can anyone advise on what to do or look out for?

Here’s one of the agents: The Menopause Symptom Decoder | The Midlife Reset Lab

Thanks,

Maria

Hi @mtreadaway! I will take a look at your setup and report back, sit tight

Hi @mtreadaway! Just following up - I and one of our engineers tested this both on your setup and on a separate direct link deployment with the same setup (form, public access group with use/day limit) and were unable to replicate the behavior you’re describing.

Can you tell me more about your setup to see if we can figure out the problem? And if possible, send a picture or video of the issue? That would help us a lot with the troubleshooting!

Hi Lindsay,

That’s fantastic. I was actually using the Neal planner agent when that problem came. ITs here:
https://studio.pickaxe.co/STUDIO2MA1CAT1GXIC1BM/deployment-2d45ef3e-d68f-4af5-86d2-dda25ec5048e

But it has the same guest access so I think it should work.

If you try the meal planner, it might happen.

Thanks
Maria

Hi @mtreadaway, thanks for following up - I checked out the exact link you sent, and I’m still unable to replicate!

I also checked out your Workspace, and couldn’t see anything obvious amiss. Could you tell me what it looks like on your end? Is the credits counter in the upper left corner decreasing? Does it hit 0 and let you continue asking questions?

Yes, I had the same issue. I sent an email to support a few weeks ago. If you set a one time credit usage limit, it doesn’t cut them off and they can just keep using it. I had to switch my plan to 5 uses per month for it to cut them off. Support emailed me back and verified it is a bug. I guess they haven’t fixed it yet.

Hi @clevra! To clarify, while there was a bug associated with one time payments several weeks back (ticket PRD-810), it was resolved (at least to our knowledge!) shortly after it was discovered. Are you still having the same issues as before?

This issue isn’t about payments, it’s about free credits. When you assign free credits to a user who hasn’t purchased a plan they do not cut off. I had allowed 5 free credits but users were not being cut off after 5 uses and could use it indefinitely. I sent an email with screenshots as it had sensitive information I didn’t post it here. I had to change it so it was 5 monthly credits to ensure they were cut off after 5 uses. As far as I’m aware this is not fixed yet. No one got back to me on it.

Hi @clevra, I’m very sorry to hear that! To clarify my statement above - this bug was related to one-time credit usage, both free and paid, and I apologize for my confusing wording. I looked through our inbox after your last post and was having a hard time finding the email you sent - would you mind forwarding it again, preferably with info related to your workspace, and I will shoot you a reply asap?

Hi @lindsay_support thanks so much. I just sent both emails again. I have an even bigger issue I logged a few weeks ago via email as the video recordings show my email addresses so I didn’t want to put them here. It is the login for both my studios looping. Abhi had said it was fixed but it isn’t and I’ve been spending a lot of money on ads. Is it possible to have this looked at too please. And also a new issue with images displaying with a download button. That one I can create a thread for here but I did email it. Let me know if you need that also added here in the community or if you are able to see the email I sent over the weekend on that. All these are since the last update

Hi @clevra, seen - thank you for re-upping! I just followed up on PRD-810, and I will have to check with the team about the looping issues (and the download button) but you should expect a follow-up email about that soon as well. I appreciate your patience and I promise we will get things sorted!

Thank you so much @lindsay_support
