Copilot will not activate [Solved]

I can’t figure out why Copilot (toggle) will not activate in my Pickaxe.

Is it a Pro feature? Is there a list of requirements somewhere? The AI Builder was not helpful.

Can the UI be improved to provide a reason when clicking a toggle fails?

I found that I can activate Copilot on an empty/new Pickaxe.

Odd. I removed the prompt and created a trivial one, saved and cloned to a new PA.
Activated CoPIlot successfully, then copied the original prompt back in.

Solved, but why?

@kenlyle Just replied to your email about this - after taking a closer look at the Pickaxe in question, I think the issue is that you already have three Actions attached. Copilot counts towards your Action totals, so you will have to remove at least one of them from the Pickaxe in order to add it. Apologies for the confusion!

Ah, Thanks. You know, it would be really nice if the UI would share such information.

I see two ways:

  1. Best. In that case, show “Copilot can not be activated, because you have reached your limit of available actions.”
  2. At least, in that case, when the toggle is clicked, show the message, possibly as a popup.

Can that be made to happen? It seems like the simplest thing ever, since Pickaxe is clearly counting Actions, and knows my account limits.

I think your analysis is correct, @lindsay_support . In the cloned PA where I was able to apply Copilot, there is only one Action active…I hadn’t noticed that, as I am not sure where the other two actions got removed, but it’s consistent.
